The remainder of the abandoned Naval Auxiliary Field in Santa Rosa, California after the Korean War is now home to various wildlife inhabitants. The area is protected and off-limits to unauthorized personnel. The field gets mowed occasionally for fire protection. Their is a trail that skirts the fenced edge for foot traffic but no unauthorized motor vehicles. From different perspectives, visions of history can play through imagination along roads, traversed by pheasants, quail, wild turkeys, Canada geese; vanishing into the distance; behind graffiti decorated bunker fronts painted by those who can't read the no trespassing signs. Homes in the distance are built upon to old East/West airstrip.
